Measuring equipment
The accuracy of the torque wrenches must be proved in a series of steps and
these must be traceable. Only in this way can the reliability of the readings be
guaranteed. During the rst stage, the end-user checks the accuracy of the torque
tools in-house using suitable calibrated testing equipment. At the next stage, this
test equipment is checked in STAHLWILLE’s DAkkS calibrating laboratory.
This accreditation by the German Calibration Service (DKD) in accordance with
DIN EN ISO/IEC 17025:2005 guarantees the direct link between the measuring
equipment and the national standard as laid down in DIN EN ISO 9001:2008
